Arsene Wenger will assess his Arsenal future at
the end of the season following another
disappointing result as the Gunners slipped to a 2-0 loss at home to Swansea City.
Two late goals from Michu inflicted a fourth
loss of the campaign on Arsenal, leaving the
club in 10th place after 15 matches of the 2012-13 term.
Booing from sections of the fans was audible at
Emirates Stadium on Saturday, while a protest
by the 'Black Scarf Movement' prior to the
match reiterated growing discontent.
Wenger was asked after the loss whether he has
considered resigning from his post, which he
has occupied since being appointed in 1996.
The Frenchman is quoted in the Mail as saying:
"Not at all. You make your assessment at the
end of the season. I know we've got unrest
everywhere. It's a good opportunity to stick
together and show we're a strong club."
