Description: – Reporting to the Head, Procurement, the successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of non-capital goods and services. – A critical part of the role is preparing bid invitations, awarding contracts, as well as developing and maintaining an effective working relationship with vendors and suppliers.
Key Requirements: – A good first degree or its equivalent in Management, Accounting, Business Administration or other related fields. – A minimum of 5years' relevant professional experience or 10 years' Civil Service experience. – Membership of relevant professional association(s) such as NIPS will be an advantage. – Strong knowledge of the Public Procurement Act
