Position Description:
To administer/provide trade product support to customers in line with CIB, TPS and Standard Bank strategy, vision and values
Purpose of the Job:
•Provide support to Trade Sales team
•Customer Transaction event status notifications and follow up.
•Client interface for Trade Enquiries and Issues resolution
•Administrative functions within Trade Sales (transaction funding, IFF disbursement and other approval tickets, client request logs)
•Tracking and escalation of Maturing Trade obligations
•Reporting (team and management)
Knowledge:
•Good knowledge of basic processes of Trade transactions
•Good understanding and knowledge of scanning companies processes and other agencies relevant to Trade.
•Good knowledge of role of other internal stakeholders in the execution of Trade transactions
•Risk Management and Compliance: – Ensures that the appropriate systems, processes and procedures within their areas and aligned with benchmark Risk Management practices are put into use as specified in the operating policy and procedure – Proactively keep yourself updated with all product and process changes with TPS that have a direct impact on your service to client within the scope of your responsibilities. – Risk identification and management – Ability to identify, accurately access and appropriately act on all aspects of risk associated with their specialist area, division and interdependent projects/ areas (including their client base, products, systems and services). – Accountability for the areas risk – Take full accountability for and ownership of all issues/ problems directly impacting the area. – Proactive Orientation – Proactively identify potential risks and recommends enhancement to existing risk management processes, which impact role
Experience:
•Relevant Degree (B.Sc)
•2 years experience in banking or Trade-related function
