Nigeria captain Joseph Yobo has responded to the criticism he received from West Bromwich forward Peter Odemwingie via Twitter at the weekend.
Odemwingie, who was dropped from the country's preliminary squad to the Africa Cup of Nations had lashed out at Nigerian football authorities include team skipper Yobo. Odemwingie claimed that the "Eagles had no good captain for years" with "everyone looking only after himself."
The Fenerbahce defender who has been captain since after the 2010 World Cup spoke to radio station Brilla FM thus: "Osaze has been reckless, disrespectful to most people. He's not a kid, he should grow up because we cannot continue to baby sit him. He is responsible for his problems."
