Jose Enrique faces a spell on the sidelines after tearing his hamstring during Liverpool's victory at Queens Park Rangers.
Enrique limped off after 71 minutes clutching his right leg as the Reds cruised to a 3-0 win at Loftus Road.
Liverpool assistant manager Colin Pascoe, standing in for the ailing Brendan Rodgers, said he expects Enrique to be out for a while with the problem.
"Unfortunately it looks like he's got a tear in his hamstring," Pascoe said. "He was terrific today, absolutely superb, and the way he's been performing these last couple of months
has been a joy to watch. It's a shame, and hopefully he's not out for too long."
