West Ham signed Republic of Ireland Under -19 stricker Sean Miguire from Waterland on Thursday.

Maguire agreed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Premier League Club after catching the eye with his performances in the Irish-league.

The 18-year-old finished joint top scorer in the league of Ireland second tier in 2012 and his goals helped Waterford gain promotion to the top flight.
