Germany under 21 captain Lewis Holtby will move over to Tottenham Hotspur from Bundesliga club Schalke in July, the Premier League said on Friday.

'' We are happy to announce that we've reached an agreement with Germany U-21 Captain Lewis Holtby for him to come over from July from Bundesliga side Schalke, if he passes medical check up '', Tottenham said on their website.

Holtby, whose contract will end this season, started his professional career in Alemannai Aachen before he went to Schalke in 2009.

The mildfielder who is 22 years has played 75 times in the club in Gelsenkirchen and has scored 11 goals. Holtby has played 3 times in Germany.
