Former President Shehu Shagari is worried that some Nigerians are making a "mess of the whole thing" about the illness of President Umaru Yarádua. Shagari expressed the concern on Monday in Sokoto while briefing newsmen, saying that anyone could fall sick. The elder statesman said that caution and patience should be exercised on the matter. "Some people are taking things a little bit too far. The president was elected and is subjected to the constitution just like other Nigerians," he added.
