The other two players that were axed are Kano Pillars defender Papa Idris and Enyimba's Henry Uche.
Super Eagles spokesman Ben Olaiya disclosed that the affected players took the coach's decision in good faith.
"Everything is good in camp, all players are in good spirit. The four players dropped took it in good faith because of the way coach did it," he said.
Olaiya further disclosed more players were going to be dropped either tomorrow (Tuesday) or after Wednesday's friendly against Cape Verde in order to finally bring the number of players in camp to twenty three.

They all have to take heart and move on with their football careers, everyone cannot be taken
The most painful one is that of Uche Kalu, that guy plays with his heart on the pitch. Well God knows best
