Former Nigeria international, Moses Kpakor, has tipped the Super Eagles to win this year's AFCON which will kick-start on January 19 in South Africa.

The ex-BBC Lions of Gboko midfielder said that Keshi will parade some of the best players who have been doing well in their various clubs in the current season which will put the team in a pole position to win it after a long time.

'' I believe we have the players that can win the trophy. Since the era of Johannes Bonfrere when he held Nigeria to the gold medal in Atlanta in 1996, I think this is the first time we have assembled a very good team ''.

'' Presently, we have crop of players playing well in Europe and making the first team in their clubs. Since the league started in August , they've been playing week-in week-out and they are in good physical condition. So I am tipping them for the trophy and if there is any team that stands a chance of winning the Nations Cup, I think it's Nigeria. If we don't win it, it will be a big disappointment ''.
