The job holder will drive the achievement of our Nigeria Technology License Sales targets. As such, he will lead the implementation and execution of our go to market strategy across all customer segments. The job holder will functionally & operationally manage our different Sales teams, Telesales, Mid market Sales, Channel Sales, Co- prime Sales and Field large account Sales team.
The job holder will lead, manage and develop a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. He conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
The job holder is an ambitious leader on his way up. He demonstrates entrepreneurship behavior, ensures full compliance to the company business practices and rules and leverages the available corporate resources.
The candidate main objectives will be the following ones:
• Achieve the revenue target
• Focus on developing large deals and increasing the Oracle Share of Wallet for the top Nigeria customers
• Drive Customer Success
• He and team act as senior IT sales professionals
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for driving Oracle's core technology license sales
• Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale
• Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division
• Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans
• Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met
• Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue
• Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives
• Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis
• Manages escalation
• Manages and develops a team of sales managers and sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process
• Conducts regular progress meetings with sales team.
