Title: Manchester City return £62 Arsenal tickets
Post by: KingFemzee on Jan 09, 2013, 09:47 AM
Manchester City have returned a third of their allocation of tickets for their Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday, after their supporters refused to pay the £62 ticket price at Emirates Stadium.
The English champions were given an allocation of 3,000 tickets, but 912 have been sent back and are being sold to Arsenal supporters, as the debate over the cost of attending games at Emirates Stadium continues to create headlines.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis came under fire from his own supporters last year as he was asked to justify the ticketing policy being employed by Arsenal and now City fans have joined the criticism ahead of Sunday's match.
