Job Title: Operation Manager

Company: an Oil and Gas Company

Responsibilities:

•   Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

•   Identify resource needs and assign individual responsibilities.

•   Maintain vessels class, flag and statutory certification, monitoring the survey schedules, planning surveys and ensuring vessel compliance with all regulations.

•   Manage day to day operational aspects of the project and scope.

•   Review deliverables prepared by the Operations team before passing for execution.

•   Effectively apply professional experience and the company's methodology to enforce standards.

•   Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

•   Minimize the company's exposure and risk on project.

•   Ensures project documentation is complete, current and stored appropriately.

•   Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.

Qualification:

•   A first degree in engineering or marine equivalent.

•   Have 10 years experience in the marine/shipping sector with the last 5 years spent at a management level in their last place of employment performing similar functions.

•   Ideal candidate must have proven and extensive years of experience in marine and offshore supply vessel market.

•   He/she must possess all the necessary skills to handle all aspects of the operation of a shipping company and be an effective team player.
