Job Description:
Ciuci Consulting is looking to hire an Associate Manager for a 16-week consulting engagement with a dynamic investment management client or other client. The employee will work for 8-weeks with a potential 8-week extension, depending on performance. Opportunity may lead to future opportunities with various clients.
Job Description Summary: Associate managers will independently lead project teams through complex financial, operational and technology-oriented business issues for a client. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing multiple project work streams, including both Firm and client teams, developing hypotheses, performing detailed quantitative analysis to prove/disprove hypotheses, creating financial forecasts, formulating strategic recommendations, preparing senior-level, client-ready presentations and delivering synthesized presentations to target audiences. Associate managers will also be responsible for managing several junior associates and analysts, preparing team work plans, managing team deliverables and reporting directly to the managing partners at the Firm.
Successful candidates will be able to:
• Create and/or manage financial modeling and superior quantitative analyses
• Demonstrate proficiency in all MS Office applications, with particular emphasis on intermediate to advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint presentation development
• Manage day-to-day project schedule, deliverables and issues to ensure that team meets critical deadlines
• Ability to check quality of team work before review by Managing Partners and client presentations
• Collaborate with senior executives, working with them to develop effective strategies
• Recommend practical, strategic recommendations to client management
• Exhibit a collaborative and team-oriented spirit
• Excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging work environment
• Provide ongoing coaching and advisory support to associates and analysts, as necessary
• Manage Firm and client project teams as required to complete project deliverables
• Work closely with Ciuci Consulting Partners during all phases of project delivery
• International experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% of the engagement
Desired Skills & Experience
Candidates must meet the below requirements:
• MBA from a top tier university
• Previous experience from a consulting firm is a major plus
• 5+ years of relevant private sector work experience post MBA, with demonstrated progressive promotion and/or achievement (consulting, business development and/or strategic development is a plus)
• Financial services experience, especially in one or more functional areas in retail banking
• Demonstrated leadership and/or relationship-building skills
• Possession of outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Aptitude for team work and ability to manage teams consisting of analysts, associates, managing partners and client members
