Angola beat Moroka Swallows 2-1 in a warm-up match in Soweto on Thursday, concluding their penultimate preparatory game before the kick off of the African Nations Cup finals.

Swallows took the lead in the match at the Dobsonville Stadium after 24 minutes through Lwazi Skosana but the Angolans, who play in South Africa's group at the upcoming continental championship, came back to win in the second half.

Swallows used the match to test former Jomo Cosmos and Mamelodi Sundowns defender Thapelo Tshilo and also gave a run out to former Bafana Bafana internationals Joseph Makhanya and MacBeth Sibaya.

It was only the second day back at training for the struggling Birds.
Angola did great in that game. I wish they could replicate it in the nations cup proper
