Blackpool have earmarked Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson as a possible replacement for Michael Appleton.

Appleton, who was only appointed in November, is expected to be named as the new manager of Blackburn on Friday.

Parkinson, who has guided the League Two Club to the last four of the League Cup, has six months left on his contract with the club.
