Job Description:
Responsible for managing statistical projects that involve applying the theory of statistics to the planning, design and review of the project setup, as well as building statistical information systems.
• Apply statistical knowledge to products and services offered
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of client's strategic direction, and need for insights, in order to support when planning for and conducting statistical analysis
• Combine data and information from a variety of cross-business databases to provide clients with a more holistic picture of consumer behavior and trends and create new insights through innovative data analysis methodologies
• Help clients understand Nielsen's statistical capabilities in solving their business challenges and also understand quality from client's perspective
• Drive statistical innovation through creative solutions that result in entirely new ways of providing profitable, value-added products and services to clients
• Serve as a local resource for delivering technical, products and services training and development programs
Desired Skills & Experience:
• University degree in Statistics or Operations Research or Economics
• 10 to 15 years FMCG (marketing / sales) or research-related industry experience desired
• Nigerians National who currently stationed overseas are welcomed to apply
• Good client focus and communications skills
• Expert knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
• Good project management experience
• Shortlisted candidates are required to go through a numerical test on assessing their abilities.
