Chelsea announced on Tuesday that they have loaned Brazilian attacking midfielder Lucas Piazon to Spanish side Malaga until the end of the present season.

The 18 year old joined the European champions from Brazilian club Sao Paulo in January last year but has since made just three first-team appearances.

'' We have an agreement with Malaga for Lucas Piazon to go on loan there until the end of the season '' said interim manager Rafael Benitez.

Benitez also said Chelsea would not seek to recall 19 year old Belgian stricker Romelu Lukaku from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion, for whom he has scored 9 goals in 22 games.
