This is to inform the general public that, Bowen University has commence the sale of its pre-degree admission form for the 2012/2013 academic session.
Bowen University is a private institution of the Nigerian Baptist Convention committed to adding a distinctly moral dimension and Godly values to tertiary education in Nigeria.
1.) The Programme's Golden Advantages
This university's one year fully residential Pre-Degree Programme which is preparatoryto degree programmes, is available to candidates who are yet to qualify fully for admission into degree programmes due to some deficiencies in their WAEC/NECO/GCE O/L or JAMB UTME examinations results, Distinctive advantages of the programme include intensive teaching, tutorials and individualized coaching as well as congenial, peaceful, to and disciplined campus life.

2.) Entry Requirements
Minimum of three (3) credits at not more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO in any of English Language, Mathematics, Biology/ Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Government, Christian Religious Knowledge, Geography, Commerce, Accountsfor science-based, or social management sciences based degree programmes.
3.) Placement into Degree Programmes
After the one year Pro-Degree Programme, successful candidates may be admitted on merit to any of the University's thirty (30) first degree programmes in its College of Health Sciences, Faculties of Agriculture, Humanities, Science and Social and Management Sciences, subject to fulfilling the national minimum requirement of the UTME.
4.) Selection Exercise
Candidates are to attend the Selection Exercise to be conducted at 9.00am on Thursday 31st January, 2013 at the Bowen University Campus, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria.
5.) Method of Application
Application forms may be obtained from the Registrar, Bowen University,Iwo, Osun State, the Baptist Building, Oke Bola, Ibadan and from Bowen University Pre-Degree Centre. Ilobu Road, Osogbo upon presentation of anapplication fee of N5,000 in bank draft payable to Bowen University, IWO from

(ii) Skye Bank Nig. Plc,
(iii) WEMA Bank Plc,
(iv) Sterling Bank Plc.
(v) Guaranty Trust Bank Plc,
(vi) Zenith Bank Plc,
Candidates must indicate Their names and addresses at the back of the Bank Draft.
6.) Required Documents
Candidates are requested to submit their application forms with the photocopies of their
(i) O'Level results
(ii) Birth Certificate, and
(iii) receipt of purchase of Bowen University Pre-Degree Application form.
