The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) offers the MQA bursary scheme in the field of mining and minerals sector in South Africa. Study Subject(s): Mining disciplines such as Mining Engineering, Mine Survey, Metallurgical Engineering (Extractive only), Geology, Environmental Health and Management are supported by MQA. Students studying the following disciplines will also be considered, although there are limited bursaries available: Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current only), Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering( Mineral Processing), Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Jewellery Design and Manufacturing.
