After the match Ferguson was angry with assistant refree Simon Beck who refused to raise the flag as it seemed Steve Caulker packed United substitute in Tottenham's 18 yard box in the 63rd minute.

'' It's very clear, it was a neat penalty for Wayne Rooney, but the linesman refused to allow it stand '', Ferguson told BBC.
