West Ham United revealed on Thursday that defender Daniel Potts is due to undergo further tests in hospital after he was knocked unconscious during the 5-1 thrashing they received from Arsenal FC yesternite.

The 18-year-old fell to the ground after a terrible clashing with Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna late in Wedesday's game and hit his head on the pitch, leaving him temporarily unconscious.

Potts received lenghty treatment from medical staff on the pitch and was fitted with a neck brace before being carried off on a stretcher and taken to a nearby hospital.
