SUMMARY OF POSITION ROLE:
The West Africa Security Manager is accountable for implementing and directing the West Africa security program following Global Security standards and direction. Will be called upon from time to time to provide security consultation for other organizations located across the CEEMEA Region
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
• Manages the overall security program for West Africa business units.
• Manages the investigation effort across the geographical region.
• Maintains communication and collaborative working relationships with the West Africa HR Leaders.
• Maintains communication with Security Representatives throughout West Africa.
• Maintains communication with the GBU, PS, CF, and GBS HR across West Africa.
• Global Security Representative for internal and external critical business partners across West Africa
EXPERIENCE:
• Significant experience as it relates to security in West Africa or closely related international based experience.
• Minimum years experience for this position: 5 years
• Minimum successful years in regionally based security environment: 5 years
• Months on the job for 100% knowledge: 12 months
EDUCATION:
• Minimum of Bachelors degree
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven leadership ability - can lead projects , work autonomously to bring definition to open ended business situations.
• Proven collaboration skills - can lead internal/external multi-functional teams and meet externally driven deadlines despite multiple priorities.
• Able to work effectively in politically charged situations leading to appropriate solutions.
• Must be decisive and tough when needed; always employing appropriate diplomacy.
• Requires a track record of effective communication with all levels of management and external parties.
