Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Mechanical Support Supervisor, the valve shop supervisor will be responsible for delivery of quality service to the customer, with respect for safety and health of personnel during operations. The Supervisor will be responsible for work scheduling, monitoring of compliance with quality control procedures and the management of personnel.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Qualifications:
• 5 to 8 years experience managing a similar valve shop is a mandatory requirement for this position
• A good HND or University mechanical engineering degree / ITI Technical or its equivalent with Industrial training
Skills required:
• Hands-on experience with competency to maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, assemble, repair and test valves to specific standards
• Good customer service attitude and skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
• Team leader experience with proof of past experience leading a valve shop operation
• Quality and Safety knowledge
