Job Title: Distribution Supervisor

Purpose:
Fan Milk Distribution Supervisor is directly responsible to the Head of Distribution for the effective and efficient monitoring of all vehicles/drivers for the distribution of Fan Milk ambient and frozen products across Nigeria to Fan Milk customers.
The DS support the Head of Distribution to ensure prompt loading of trucks in order to meet customer's daily request for Fan Milk products.
He is overall responsible to the Head of Distribution for:
• Prepare all daily performance reports on Distribution activities
• Monitor each trucks performance metrics: fuel per km, drops/day, drops/day/truck
• Provide feedback to Distribution Planner and Distribution Management on utilization and performance of trucks.
• The DS supports the Distribution department through change and delivers results within the organization culture and value of Fan Milk Plc.
CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate has:
• Understanding of management and fundamental operations of trucking services.
• High degree of assertiveness across cultural and educational diversity
• Extensive and thorough knowledge of supply chain management, logistics and/or distribution management
• Some managerial and leadership knowledge, applying best practices to all section of the business.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills with a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
• Proving track record of achieving high level of productivity and other relevant success criteria.
• Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of major routes in Nigeria would be an advantage.
• Fluent in Igbo language.
• Attention to details.
