Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese has cancelled clear-the-air talks with Saints legend Matthew Le Tissier, claiming he broke a privacy agreement.
Le Tissier has been highly critical of Cortese's regime and particularly his decision to sack manager Nigel Adkins and replace him with Mauricio Pochettino last month.
The former Southampton captain recently revealed that a meeting between the two parties had been arranged to patch things over, only for the club to announce in a statement released on Wednesday that would no longer be the case.
