The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian Nationals for the following position(s) at the Institute's Headquarters, Ibadan.
Job Title: Security Superintendent (2-year renewable Contract)
Successful candidate will among other things:
• Monitor daily work performance of the outsourced security services provider
• Coordinate effective/efficient patrol of the Institute campus;
• Initiate immediate response to emergencies like fire, theft; etc
• Conduct security investigations and submit a comprehensive report to the Security Manager;
• Conduct regular fire safety audit;
• Ensure that all security operational equipment are in good working condition.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• BSc/HND or equivalent in relevant fields of study with at least 5 years of cognate experience in security and crime investigation work in any of the uniformed services. Not below the rank or equivalent of Inspector in the Police Force.
• Applicants must have good physique, high integrity and be knowledgeable in work planning.
• He must also be committed, resourceful, honest and must possess very good driving skills with a valid drivers' licence.
