INTRODUCTION:
This position requires a professional in attracting new and retaining businesses in real estate lifecycle management in Nigeria with focus on Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt. Primarily builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business opportunities.
The task involves one on one engagement with prospective clients as well as support for all portfolios offered by K.A. Primewater Enterprises Limited; as well as management of critical information gathered in the course of duties.
The BDM will on behalf of K.A. Primewater Enterprises Limited provide information local market conditions, build client base and networking opportunities, develop business tool. The BDM will be required to undertake and/or direct industry research and economic market analysis to determine economic development opportunities suited for the business.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the BDM will have adequate autonomy in line with Profit and Loss Objectives to work with established industry players to achieve both short and long term growth objectives.
This position is supported by an experienced senior management team in leadership, business management with measurable outcomes and winning approaches to business development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Identifies potential business deals by contacting potential customers; discovering and exploring opportunities
2. Develops and Negotiate contracts in line with business objectives
3. Ensure business information are kept with the highest level of confidentiality
4. Attends conferences/tradeshows to expand client base, improve networking opportunities, business intelligence and market evolution.
5. Drive the marketing department to develop and execute business development initiatives in line with organizational goals.
6. Continually explore and implement value added services to attract and retain new customers
7. Initiate business development discussions on large and/or strategic accounts
8. Meet Organizational Objectives by meeting performance scorecard as well as P and L targets.
9. Develop and deliver the business plans through carrying out research, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business reports
10. Serves as a lead facilitator both internally and externally for projects
11. Develop and help manage client communication tools such as the corporate website
12. Conduct seminars and training sessions for sales agents to improve sales techniques

QUALIFICATION:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area during which professional capability has been clearly demonstrated.
• Demonstrated experience in a project-based role.
• Preference given to candidates with business development experience.
