Nigeria international, Ejike Uzoenyi has sealed a deal to join French side, Rennes.

The 24-year-old winger completed the move following an impressive outing with Nigeria at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Uzoenyi who confirmed the news on Thursday, explained that he would be jetting off to France very shortly.

"Yes, I have sealed the deal to join Rennes. I am very pleased with this because it is the dream of every Nigerian player to move to Europe. I hope to take my career to the next level," he told supersport.com. He will now join another Nigerian, Onyekachi Apam at Rennes.

Uzoenyi has made 11 appearances for Nigeria.
