Ranchers Bees' technical adviser, James Peters has quit his position with the management of the Kaduna-based side.
.
The former Nigerian assistant coach resigned on Wednesday after his side's 0-1 defeat at Sokoto United on Matchday 8 of the Nigeria National League (NNL) in Sokoto.
.
An official of Ranchers Bees, Vincent Akinbami said the coach resigned for personal reasons and that the chief coach, Taiye Yusuf has been charged to lead the team against their Matchday 9 foes, Jigawa United on Saturday in Kaduna.
.
Pressed further to comment what would have led the technical adviser to quit his job, Akinbami said the coach may have not taken kindly to the spate of criticisms from the fans over some poor results the team have recorded in recent matches.
.
"Coach James Peters have resigned his job with Ranchers Bees on Wednesday after our Week 8 loss to Sokoto United and he said his resignation is due to personal reasons. The (club) management has accepted his resignation while wishing him well in his future endeavours.
.
"The chief coach, Taiye Yusuf has been asked to take charge of the team. Yusuf was a former Ranchers Bees' player, former coach of Plateau United as well as DSS FC.
.
"Though coach Peters didn't offer additional reasons for his action I guess he is not comfortable with the team's poor away records as well as series of criticisms from the fans or he may have secured a better offer elsewhere," he said to supersport.com.
.
After Matchday 8, Ranchers Bees have managed 10 points from a maximum of 24 and are placed 10th on the NNL Group A log.
.
Contacted Peters admitted resigning his position with the Kaduna-based side on Wednesday strictly on personal grounds and declined further comments.
.
"Yes, I've resigned as technical adviser of Ranchers Bees on personal reason. I resigned on Wednesday, I'm at home, nowhere else at the moment," he said

The experienced gaffer had complained after his side's Matchday 7 home draw against TEAP FC that the rookies in his fold are slow learners indicating that the team must be fortified with experienced legs if they must compete favourable in the league.
