Role Synopsis:
• At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for the commercial development of the Process & Pipeline Services (PPS) Division.
• The role will help with creation of Bids relating to PPS Business in line with compliance and legal & regulatory practices and Acts.
• Serve as Business Development Officer for the PPS Business in Nigeria.
• To maintain and grow the company's status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry by ensuring that the highest quality standards are achieved to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
1. Ensures full awareness of and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant Company / customer HSE Handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures. Perform all risk assessments required by clients.
2. Actively ensures that his / her own health & safety and the health &
Safety of all fellow workers or other workers is preserved at all times.
3. To establish the growth of the PPS Business through sales(Obtain business data and targets from PPS Ops Manager for Nigeria)
4. To prepare tenders, assist in the restructuring & planning of the PPS Sales efforts
5. Seeks & Develop new business opportunities.
6. Build new relationships & obtain customer feedback and market information
7. To assist in all aspects of sales process to ensure sales objectives and budgets are met
8. Develop, maintain & strengthen sales relationship with clients and make regular visits to key or potential customers to ensure the securing of work and contracts
9. To Prepare for approval and action sales plans, visits, technical papers and strategies
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: BSC in Engineering or Management with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar job and industry

• Essential skills are technical expertise, pipeline and process market knowledge, management skills, sales experience, negotiation skills, presentation skills, analytical skills.
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Excellent Computing skills – MS WORD, EXCEL POWER POINT ETC
