(http://www.channelstv.com/home/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/niger_governor-300x225.jpg) (http://www.channelstv.com/home/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/niger_governor.jpg)Governor Muazu Aliyu of Niger State has announced the appointments of Idris Ndako as the new Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Joshua Bawa as new Chief of Staff, Government House while Barrister Abbas Bello is the new head of the state's civil service.
A statement signed by Governor Aliyu's Chief Press Secretary, Danladi Ndayebo stated that the governor has also approved the appointment of a former member of the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Usman as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Governor's Office.
The statement noted that the changes were in furtherance of the ongoing efforts to reposition and strengthen the state government for enhanced service delivery and the attainment of Vision 3:2020.
The statement said that the newly appointed officials would be sworn in later in the week.
