Title: Haruna expects tough Bordeaux test

Dynamo Kiev duo of Haruna Lukman and Taye Taiwo believes that their side are capable of qualifying for the next round of the Europa League competition despite playing out a 1-1 draw at home to Bordeaux in the first leg.

The Ukrainian hosts took a deserved lead in the 20th minutes through Haruna, who latched on to a cross from his compatriot Taye Taiwo and slammed the ball into the top right corner before Bordeaux restored parity three minutes later when Obraniak curled in a low shot from Gregory Sertic's pass and Haruna believes it's the result was a wake up call to him and his teammates.

"It was very difficult to get the winner after the equalised," the former Olympic international said. I feel very excited that the coach trusts me well enough to play me in my favorite role behind the striker and the fact that I scored but the result is a wake up call for us going into the second leg," he added.

Haruna who was overlooked for the AFCON tourney which Nigeria emerged champions further reinstated his desire to play for the national team.

"I have to congratulate the Super Eagles for their triumph in South Africa and will be available whenever called upon to serve," he concluded.

The strike was Haruna's second goal of the season for the third place team on the Ukrainian log.

Meanwhile his compatriot Taye Taiwo says only good preparation and hardwork will ensure qualification to the next round.

"I know Bordeaux very well in the French championship," Taiwo said. "The French are good at defending, so playing against them is very difficult, especially if they manage to score," he added."I knew that it will be difficult and we were unlucky.
