Post by: Folami David on Feb 20, 2013, 08:41 PM
Eight players have been thrown out from the camp of the Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Prime FC, I can report.
.
I  learned that their lacklustre performances so far this season in the Nigeria's second tier football league was the rationale for their exit from the Osogbo-based club, currently rooted at the bottom of the log.
.
An official of the club, who would not want his name in print, divulged to supersport.com that the axed players have been ordered to leave the team's camp with immediate effect.
.
The affected players are Bolatito Ogunsanya, Yusuf Aderemi, Lekan Adisa, Godwin Timothy, Ebenezer Odeyemi, David Kehinde, Williams Okogie and Daniel Monday.
.
Meanwhile, 17 players have been recruited to fortify the team from their present underneath part of the National League standings. Erstwhile 3SC captain, Tope Orelope tops the list of the newly enlisted players.
.
Others are Messack Chuwubui, Bisi Olagunju, Daniel Osoata, Nurudeen Abolade, Taiwo Oladapo, Ganiyu Anifowose, Harrison Ibukun, Gabriel Okechukwu, Hamidu Ganiyu, Nnamdi Onyenorah, Michael Adulogu, Adeniyi Adeleke, Hamed Jimoh, Sile Hamed, Jimoh Bamigboye and Jimmy Bello.
.
Prime FC last term won the bronze medal at the 2012 Federation Cup beating current NPFL champions, Kano Pillars 3-1 on penalties.
