The captain of the Nigeria's Beach Soccer team, the Supersand Eagles, Olawale Isiaka has sent a congratulatory message to the Super Eagles' skipper, Joseph Yobo on lifting his first continental crown for Nigeria after twelve years of national service.

Olawale while praising Yobo for his maturity and commitment, saluted the extraordinary spirit displayed by the team, which led to breaking the country's nineteen years' continental trophy jinx.

"Yobo and the other players really did us proud. They showed great commitment and determination to. play all their games like a final", says Isiaka
.
"We the Supersand Eagles are proud to see theSuper Eagles back as African champions", Olawale added.

It will be recalled that Yobo led the Nigerian team to victory in South Africa as Nigeria were crowned champions for the third time in her over fifty years of participation in Africa's biggest football tournament Incidentally, it was the last outing for Yobo at the Africa Cup of Nations having made five previous appearances.
