Palermo have re-appointed for manager of the side Gian Piero Gasperini as boss after announcing the sack of 58-year-old Alberto Malesani who succeeded Gasperini as head coach of the Rosanero in early February but, following a run of three successive draws and with the club still rooted to the foot of the Serie A table, he was given the boot.
