Scholarship Description: National Scholarship Programme for Undergraduate Students at Anglia Ruskin University. Anglia RuskinAnglia Ruskin University is able to offer 317 NSPs to full-time students who begin their studies in 2013. There are also 34 NSPs available to part-time students who are paying their own tuition fees or taking out a tuition fee loan from Student Finance England. The NSP will be deducted on a pro rata basis i.e. if you are studying at 50% of a full time load, 50% of the annual fee waiver will be applied in each year of study.Some important things to note:
-If you are a full-time applicant you must apply through UCAS before applying for an NSP as you will need your UCAS personal id.
-Part-time applicants should apply using our online application form
-Part-time applicants studying over 25% of the course per year if eligible will be awarded an NSP on a pro rata basis
-If your application for an NSP is unsuccessful you will automatically be considered for the Anglia Ruskin fee waiver scheme
-A National Scholarship Programme (NSP) award cannot be combined with an Anglia Ruskin fee waiver
-If you are applying for a full-time course you should submit your application to Student Finance England as soon as possible, we will only be able to check that you meet the household income criteria for any of our fee waivers when your student finance application has been approved by Student Finance England
-If you are applying for a part-time course you will be informed of the arrangements for verifying your household income after your application has been processed.

-£3,000 in year 1
-£1,900 in years 2 and 3
-There are also 34 NSPs available to part-time students who are paying their own tuition fees or taking out a tuition fee loan from Student Finance England. The NSP will be deducted on a pro rata basis i.e. if you are studying at 50% of a full time load, 50% of the annual fee waiver will be applied in each year of study.

Selection Criteria: The following criteria will be used to prioritize applications: – Applicants are from a neighborhood with low progression into Higher Education (based on Higher Education Funding Council for England data for participation in Higher Education by geographical area)
-depending on the level of applications university may also take into consideration predicted grades based on school attainment data.
Notification: Applicant will be sent an email informing if his/her application was successful. Once they are registered students they will be able to see their award on your Anglia Ruskin web account (called e:Vision). It will show on the 'My Registration' page.
