Stoke City will be without centre-back Robert Huth for three matches after announcing on Wednesday that they have decided not to contest his suspension for violent conduct.

The German defender was charged by the Football Association after appearing to strike Philippe Senderos in the face in an off-the-ball incident during Stoke's 1-0 loss at Fulham on Saturday.

Huth will miss this weekend's Premier League encounter with West Ham United, as well as games against Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.

"Stoke City have confirmed that Robert Huth has accepted the charge of violent conduct following an incident in last weekend's game at Craven Cottage," said Stoke in a statement on the club website.
