Job Title: Account Officer – Cash

The Accounts Officer will provide cashier functions to the MC Country Office and maintain proper records of all transactions in accordance with MC financial procedures.
Additional responsibilities include; maintaining the petty cash using impress records, preparing cash payments and obtain approval from authorised personnel; archiving all finance documents and ensuring they are in safe custody and easily accessible by the finance team.
Candidates should possess the following:
• A Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting with a minimum of three years' experience in a finance team.
• Previous knowledge of NGO donors and their financial reporting requirements is essential for this position.
• Excellent working knowledge of computers as well as accounting soft wares is required.
SMC Project: The SMC Project will explore the feasibility, effectiveness, acceptability and costs of implementation of Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) previously referred to as to as Intermittent Preventive Treatment in children (IPTc).
