The young North Africans got off to a flyer in the encounter at the Esperance training ground complex with their opening goal inside the opening 20 minutes.

Six minutes later, it was 2-0 to the Tunisians as the reigning AYC champions struggled to get to grips with the pace and penetration of the hosts.

Head coach of the Nigerian side, John Obuh made three changes after 37 minutes, replacing Azubuike Okechukwu, Abubakar Aliyu and Nzube Anaezemba with Ovboka Agboyi, Chidi Osuchukwu and Moses Orkuma but it counted for nothing as the Tunisians ran away convincing winners.
