Ericsson is looking for a Head of HR Generalist Hub to manage a team of HR Generalists supporting leaders and employees of the Hub North West organization.
The role is based in Dakar, Lagos or Accra reporting to the Head of HR RSSA.
Responsibilities include:
• Implement global HR processes, tools and solutions in the most efficient & effective manner
• Deliver globally designed HR programs and practices within Hub North West, based on business needs, in close cooperation with line management, HR Business Partner and in partnership with the HR Shared Service Center and / or HR Subject Matter Expert
• Maintain industrial & employee relations with local stakeholders
• Provide HR advice to employees and managers
• Facilitate and contribute to change programs
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and global directives
• Lead a team of HR Generalists, ensuring goal alignment, individual development, and performance expectations are an imbedded way of working
• Ensuring the HR Generalist Team is fully aligned and optimized towards the business and key projects or initiatives to be undertaken within the geography or HUB.
• Maintain a connection to the operating businesses within the geography or HUB through regular interaction with Region HR Head and HR Business partners representing the RE/BU/GF.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor or Master's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• 10+ years' experience in the HR functional area
• 3+ years of experience managing people, including virtually and matrix
• Business acumen
• Knowledge of local labour relations, laws & legislation
• Project Management Skills
• Effective team player
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Significant knowledge of HR policies and processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and excel
• Ericsson's Integrated Talent Management suite
