Heartland FC midfielder Ikechukwu Ibenegbu is confident that Heartland FC will have an impressive campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup this season.

The Naze Millionaires will play Gabon's US Bitam in the First Round of the second tier of the CAF Club tournament on the weekend of March 21-23 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri. Ibenegbu that says the team are preparing hard for the tournament and calls for massive support by fans of the club.

"The CAF club competitions will not be easy for us neither will be it be for other clubs representing Nigeria both in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup. However we will give it our best shot.

"The management of the club have been supporting in any way they can and I also want to call on the fans to also come to the Stadium and support us.

"The league starts this weekend and we have that to
think about first, before the continental game. We
shall approach our games as they come," Ibenegbu
who is on the fringes of the Super Eagles and an
inspirational member of the Beach Eagles team said.

Lobi Stars FC are the other Nigerian campaigners in the Confederation Cup and will play against Liga Maculmana while Kano Pillars and Rangers FC will fly the country's flag in the CAF Champions League and are billed to play AC Leopards of Congo and Vital O respectively.
