Levante striker, Obafemi Martins, has revealed that he will be willing to return to the Super Eagles if he gets a recall by coach Stephen Keshi ahead of the March 23 World Cup qualifier against Kenya.

Keshi recently stated that the former Rubin Kazan striker was not ready for the Nations Cup assignment which accounted for his being dropped from the team that won the third AFCON title for Nigeria last month; but the striker - whose move to MLS side Seatle Sounders was recently scuttled by the refusal of his Spanish club to agree on a fee - told Complete Sports that he is now in the right frame of mind to return to the fold and help the team achieve greater things. "I'm fit and available to return to the Super Eagles if I get an invitation for the Kenya game," Martins said.

"I can assure you that I'm fit and ready to play a part in that match to help in our bid to get the 2014 FIFA World Cup ticket. We need all the three points at stake if we must attain that dream. I've played against the Kenyans before and scored some crucial goals as well, and it would be nice to continue that streak. I know they will want to play a defensive game, but we just need to play well and win," he asserted.

Martins scored twice as the Eagles defeated Kenya in Nairobi to qualify for the 2010 World Cup.

Nigeria currently top Group F with four points from two games and three points ahead of Kenya's Harambee Stars who they face on the 23rd of March in Calabar.
