The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) committee sitting on the tussle between Enugu Rangers and Warri Wolves over Sunday Mba has declared it will be "transparent" in resolving the impasse.

The committee chaired by the NFF Director of Competitions, Dr Sanusi Mohammed, sat on Wednesday to hear preliminary submissions over the dispute on the Nigerian international.

"This committee is saddled with the responsibility of resolving this dispute. And with that power vested on us, we will do our best and be transparent in every way possible to make sure this is resolved once and for all," said Mohammed.

Mohammed, however, declared that the committee will not make any pronouncement on the case but will forward all of its findings and recommendation to the NFF.

"No we won't pass any judgment or make any pronouncement on the dispute. Ours is to hear from the different parties involved in the dispute, submit our findings and recommendation to the football federation to handle," revealed Mohammed.

Officials of Enyimba, Enugu Rangers, Dolphins and Warri Wolves as well as Mba are in Abuja as the hearing of the dispute continues on Thursday.

Enugu Rangers and Warri Wolves have been involved in the dispute for the ownership of Mba after the attacking midfielder scored twice at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations including against Burkina Faso in the final that won Nigeria the trophy.

Already, Rangers have officially unveiled the player ahead of the 2012/13 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season in spite of the ongoing tussle for Mba with Warri Wolves.
