The 2013 budget of the Etche L G A totalling, (N3,425,000,000) has been presented to the legislative arm of the council for approval. The breakdown of the budget, tagged, 'Budget of Consolidation' shows that N1,781,510,443 is for the recurrent expenditure while the capital expenditure is N1,643,489,557.
Speaking while presenting the appropriation bill to the legislative house, the Chairman, Mr. Reginald Ukwuoma said that the economic sector, provision of social services and community development toped the priority list on the council's budget.
