JOB SUMMARY
As Tendering Manger, you shall be responsible for the co-ordination of all Tenders and Proposals and the Leadership of the Tendering team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Formulate and implement bid strategies for projects, within the allocated proposal budgets
• Provide customers with product and technical information
• Drive pre-bid submission activities and raise the standard and quality of bids to increase bid win ratio.
• Coordinate with legal counsel in reviewing the Contract documents,
• Take lead in the planning and execution of the work in close coordination with Project Execution, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls and other services to execute a compliant proposal
• Ensure we have strategic Business Partnerships as and when needed.
• Review and maintain competitive files, statistics, database / tender templates
• Assist in contracts review including specifications, pricing, billing, delivery and other terms and conditions
• Keep abreast of product capabilities, service enhancements as well as related competition.
• Liaise with key agencies and statutory bodies and co-ordinate feedback/requirements needed from Departmental Heads.
• Identify and communicate contract risks to Management and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Coordinate the bid team and maximise each team member's potential
• All other assigned tasks.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• B.SC in any Engineering discipline, MBA or MSc is an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 3 must be Managerial
• Minimum of 5 years Tendering Experience
• Tendering Experience in the Oil & Gas Sector or Service Sector is desired
• Computer Literacy is compulsory
• Highly Motivated and Resourceful
• Analytical, Logical & Methodical
• Team Leadership
• Research Skills
• Must have an eye for details
