Applications are invited from interested and suitable candidates for admission into 2012/2013 Sandwich Post Graduate Programmes of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt leading to the award of PGD degree.
A. Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Education (PGDTE)
B. Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR SANDWICH/FULL-TIME (PGDE/PGDTE) PROGRAMMES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
A. Applications for the Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Education Programmes should normally possess:
(i) Higher National Diploma (HND) or its equivalent in any Technical subject awarded by any recognized institution
(ii) A Degree in any Technical subject awarded by a recognized University and
B. Candidates who possess the following qualifications are eligible for admission in PGDE/PGDTE Programme:
(iii) A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University
(iv) Higher National Diploma from a recognized institution and
(v) Post-qualification teaching experience
(vi) Have a Higher National Diploma or its equivalent in a related field with not less than an Upper Credit.
METHODS OF APPLICATION
Candidates who wish to apply should log onto the University website www.ust.edu.ng and make e-payments of application fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) by using Interswitch Verve enabled cards.
Candidates are advised to check the Notice Board of the Postgraduate School for their names with effect from 1st July, 2013 to confirm if they have been admitted or not.
CLOSING DATE: Completed application forms should be returned to the Director, Institute of Education, Rivers State University of Science and Technology, not later than 31st May 2013.
