Main Purpose of the Job:
•To handle back office operation aspect of Share Registration.
• The job involves processing internally business transactions relating to share registration on behalf of clients and the jobholder serves as back up for Share Registration field officers.
Problem Solving skills:
•Assisting staffs that are interfacing with "difficult" clients on share registration issues.
•Managing large volume (in-flow) of client's certificates, dividend warrants and other share registration requests.
•Investigates and liaises with field officers to obtain additional information in dealing with ambiguity.
Planning skills:
•Monthly planning is required for operational activities that require routine approval or processes
•Planning is required on the job is daily and on an ongoing basis as requests or events occur, especially as it relates to stakeholders/clients issues.
Decision making skills:
•Decisions are geared towards improving Share registration activities, mitigating or eliminating risk, service delivery and achieving the organization's objectives
•Issues involving critical decision making are delegated upwards.
Knowledge, Experience and Personal Competencies
Knowledge:
•University Degree.
•Good knowledge of stock broking and capital market operations.
•Certification in computer application – MS Word, Power-point and Excel
•Good communication skills.
•Strong Analytical / Numeric Skills
•Selling skills.
•Drive to excel and achieve results.
•Working effectively with minimum supervision.
Experience:
•Experience in the Capital market industry and share registration operations.
•Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
