Purpose Statement: – To plan, manage and deliver the Aero Contractors airportOperations in order to ensure efficient day-to-day running ofall airport operations in support of the airline. – Support andmanage the Airport Services' team in the daily operations, plan long-term improvements andimplement global policies.Represent and protect the company interest within the Airport's authority committees.
Key Accountabilities: – Manage day-to-day safe, efficient and punctual airportpassenger processing – guaranteeing integrity andcorrect implementation of all relevant procedures. – Ensure all customer relations matters / querieseffectively dealt with or delegated. Implementcontinuous process improvement to ensure ongoingdevelopment – Promote and plan internal customer serviceinitiatives.- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners,contractors and agencies including; airport authority,handling agents, control authorities, other airlinesand internal departments. – Ensure correct level of contingency planning andguarantee a process of continuous improvementacross all airport areas of security, safety andemergency procedures – Manage airport budget inclusive of planning andongoing management to drive cost efficiencythroughout all airport operations.
Knowledge, Skills andExperience: – This position requires a graduate with a first degree/HND orany related qualification relevant to aviation. – Also requiredare good interpersonal skills and the ability to take quick andwell informed decisions. – Good all round airline industryknowledge, and at least 5 years experience in a Managementrole within the airline industry. – Other requirements includedetailed Operations management & planning experience,ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)with all levels of people while multilingual proficiency will bean advantage.
