Job Title: Ticketing and Reservations Agent

Function: Ground Services
Sub Function: Sales/ Customer Service
Location: All Aero locations
Purpose Statement: To ensure that tickets are sold and issued to customers correctly and in accordance with the laid down NCAA laws.
Key Accountabilities: – Fare Quotes and Reservations. – Ensure all tickets are issued correctly and according to IATA regulations. – Block group seats for series and adhoc group. – Revalidation, rebooking, and upgrading of tickets – Issuing MPDs for excess luggage payments. – Coupon reconciliation and balancing. – Reconciling cash uplift with ticket sales. – Providing a frontline point of presence for passenger enquiries. – Process baggage and passengers in line with ACN's standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: – This position requires a graduate with a Degree/HND or any related discipline relevant to aviation. A good knowledge of and/ or previous experience in the aviation industry will be an added advantage. – Preferably but not essentially to have IATA/UFTTA qualifications. – Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills with a pleasant personality.Ability to work well on own initiative and adapt to changing work demands.Must be computer literate.
